ABOUT PIONEER RFC
The Pioneer Rugby Club is a successful and well-established club based in the regional town of Gore, in the Southland District of New Zealand’s South Island.
Established in 1904, the club boasts twelve teams: Senior Division 1 and 2nd Division (Reserves), a women’s team, plus five junior teams.
The club has more than seventy sponsors from the
local business community. HRT Rural Transport is our major sponsor while Hokonui Joinery & Kitchens sponsor our Reserve Team and Harrison's Supplies Limited are the major sponsor for our Women's Team.
With strong support from local sponsors, club supporters, friends and family members, our family-friendly club is one of the most attractive within the league for everything it offers on and off the field.
